How to check firmware version

To check current firmware version connect to the device using telnet or serial console and type 'ver':

Tahoe> ver
Version 1.2.7 (Tue Jun 15 22:03:55 CEST 2004)
Tahoe>

The date in the parentheses is the compilation date. There may be a few compilations of the same firmware release with minor changes.
